Decoupaging a floor using paper napkins?  Really?  Is it possible?  I had looked and looked for a video or tips on creating a floor using paper napkins but all I could find were dressers and tables.  Thus the idea of creating my own experiment and taping myself along the way.  A paper napkin decoupaged floor will be the perfect addition to this old house.  The goal is to have it look like old linoleum.  Worse thing that could happen is that we have to paint it or put laminate over it.  So glad I gave it a shot!  Watch the video for our adventure in creating a paper napkin decoupaged floor.

We created the look of vintage linoleum floor with paper napkins and Mod Podge. The process involves using decorative paper napkins, Mod Podge, and floor polyurethane to create a unique and durable DIY floor. It creates a great vintage look, in this application. Choose more contemporary napkins and have a more upscale look.

It is a wonderful experiment that turned out awesome, in my opinion. The worst that would have happened is I would have to repaint it or cover it with something else. It was worth the risk and paid off. The multiple coats of polyurethane will give it durability and protect the floor for years to come. A paper napkin decoupaged floor! Who knew?
